About Me

I'm a board-certified, Harvard-trained psychiatrist. I specialize in providing psychotherapy and medication management. I'm on faculty at Harvard Medical School and work as a staff psychiatrist at McLean, in addition to my time in my private practice. I specialize in doing deep work with clients to help them understand themselves and recover from trauma and PTSD, borderline personality, narcissism, depression, anxiety, bipolar, ADHD and more. I work with clients new to therapy as well as clients who have tried numerous therapies and/or medications and haven't gotten the results they wanted. I listen and work collaboratively with you. I also work with partners, ex-partners, parents, and adult-children who have been effected by a family member's condition.

I have worked extensively in the various therapeutic modalities including psychodynamic therapy, EMDR and Trauma Reprocessing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mentalization Based Therapy (MBT), and Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT). My goal is to get you better so that you can "become your own therapist" and no longer need therapy.

I deeply appreciate that there is not a one size fits all approach to healing and I am dedicated to exploring with you, through a collaborative effort, treatment plans that are realistic for your needs. I offer in-person appointments at my Newton office and virtual appointments for those in Massachusetts.
